Second, I mentioned in the first paragraph how natural foods provide a more alkaline pH balance. By this, I mean your blood pH, which can range from alkaline to acidic. In a healthy body, the blood pH tends to be slightly more alkaline than acidic. Guess what can cause it to change? That is right, processed or acidic foods, such as glutinous grains, refined sugar, dairy, caffeine, pesticides, herbacides, or food additives like coloring or flavoring.
Unfortunately, the average processed diet is virtually built from these substances. When the body becomes acidic, the immune system plummets, leaving you at risk for many ailments and long term diseases. You may feel chronically tired or unable to lose weight.
