Master Cleanse Ingredients
The master cleanse ingredients are simple, but not very nutritious.
The Master Cleanse is a cleanse and weight-loss program that has gained popularity, celebrity support, and fame. The key master cleanse ingredients are water, lemon juice, cayenne pepper, and maple syrup. It usually lasts 7 to 10 days and can cause up to ten pounds in weight loss.
To make a serving of master cleanse ingredients:
Mix 8 to 10 oz water with 2 tablespoons fresh, organic squeezed lemon juice, 2 tablespoons maple syrup (grade B), and 1/10 teaspoon cayenne pepper.
Stir all the ingredients together and drink in place of meals. The cayenne pepper will help suppress your appetite and force out toxins. The Maple syrup will give your body and brain some sugar and calories to run on, while the water and lemon juice will provide hydration, cleansing and anti-oxidants.
The mixture is take throughout the day, whenever you feel hungry or need more calories. Since this diet involves a lot of simple sugars, you will likely feel light headed and sick while only consuming the master cleanse ingredients. This is why we don’t recommend the master cleanse, and instead promote green juices and whole foods. If you really want to incorporate the master cleanse ingredients into your cleanse, we recommend using it for 1-2 days at the start of your cleanse in order to kick start cleansing. This may give you the motivation to keep cleansing, or alternatively stop the cycle of eating poor foods if you find yourself in a rut.
The recipe of master cleanse ingredients for a daily serving, for those who prefer to prepare the mixture in advance, is as follows:
Mix 60 ounces of water, 12 tablespoons of fresh squeezed lemon juice, 12 tablespoons of genuine grade b organic maple syrup, and ½ teaspoon cayenne pepper. Stir well, shake before drinking.
It is important to use high quality ground cayenne pepper, fresh squeezed lemon juice, only, and high-grade maple syrup to get the benefits of this cleanse. Do not use bottled lemon juice, or lemon juice concentrate, and do not use maple flavored syrup. Doing so will negate most of the cleansing benefits. It is best to use the Master Cleanse ingredients as part of a holistic cleanse and detox program.
