How To Candida Cleanse

Candida is a genus of yeasts. Many of the species of this genus live inside the cells of other organisms where they may be biologically useful or clinically harmful to their host organisms. Candida albicans is the most significant member of this genus and it is usually found in the gastrointestinal tract, where it can cause infections called thrush or candidiasis in humans (particularly those with very low immunity due to one health condition or the other) and also other animals.

Since Candida albicans is yeast that is always present in the digestive tract and the vagina, its levels must be maintained such that it will not rise to become harmful to our health, and this is usually automatically controlled by the immune system and the beneficial symbiotic bacteria in the body.

The overgrowth of Candida in the intestines causes symptoms characterized by headaches, mood swings, congestion of the sinus, sadness, bad memory and concentration, and cravings for sweets. It is also known that excess Candida yeast in the intestines penetrates the intestinal wall, causing yeast and other unwanted particles to be absorbed into the body. This can lead to a whole host of problem including allergic hypersensitivity and much more.

A candida cleanse involves the removal of candida-friendly foods such as sugar, sweet fruit, breads, pastas, and other refined carbohydrates.

Antibiotics and most medications also worsen candida issues by destroying much of the good bacteria that are supposed to keep yeast and fungus in check.

Here are some more helpful candida cleansing tips:

  • Use antifungal supplements like oregano oil and caprylic acid.

  • Introduce high levels of probiotic (more than 20 billion per day).

  • Avoid sweet foods (as candida thrive on these)

  • Avoid foods that contain mold

  • Alkalize your body with lots of green vegetables through green juices, smoothies, and salads.

Please bear in mind that a proper candida cleanse is very very tough to adhere to and in most cases requires 6 months to fully take effect. Nonetheless, you can make some good improvements by following the steps mentioned above.
